The main hall, commonly known as the Zalia or Svitlytsia, was one of the original buildings of the Fontaine Manor House that were included when CYM acquired the property. In 1959, the building underwent significant renovations to update its structure.
Between 1967 and 1970, the original Zalia was replaced by a striking modern venue, featuring two main entrances, a spacious terrace, and a large ballroom with a performance stage that can accommodate up to 600 guests. It also includes restrooms, a bar, a kitchen, and two additional rooms for various uses, all equipped with heating and air conditioning. A tryzub adourns the top of the main entrance and “CYM” is above the secondary entrance.
Over the years, the Zalia has become a hub for conferences, seminars, and social gatherings, from weddings and banquets to lively zabavas, each event weaving new stories into its storied walls.
Since then, the Zalia has hosted countless events, including conferences, weddings, banquets and lively zabavas making it a vibrant center for the community.
In 2022, a fire damaged the main kitchen and dining hall at Oselia CYM. In 2023, the kitchen and one of the salons were renovated to serve as a replacement for the main kitchen, ensuring that food can be prepared for Oselia's summer camps and for visitors.
