Wings Mural

This mural, painted by Olga Muzician Pacilio in May 2024, features stunning wings adorned with a vibrant array of Ukrainian flowers, including sunflowers, red poppies, daisies, and kalyna berries. Designed to symbolize strength and hope, the mural serves as a poignant tribute. Generously donated by Gene and Christina Tomashosky, it memorializes their beloved daughter, Valentina (Valya) Tomashosky. Flanking a plaster relief of the renowned Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko, the mural bears the inspiring words, “For you have wings, and you have strength,” a moving quote from Shevchenko himself.
