Its construction was overseen by a joint committee comprising representatives from CYM and the Organization for the Defense of Lemkivshchyna (OOL). Designed by architect Theodore Bodnar, Jr. in the traditional Lemko style, the chapel was made possible through the generous contributions of the Ukrainian community in America.
