Vyshkilnyj Camp – Виховно-Вишкільний Табір
Vyshkilnyj Camp is a comprehensive multi-week leadership training program designed to prepare young adults for volunteer work and leadership roles within their CYM Oseredok and CYM summer camps. Serving as the first step toward becoming a leader in the organization, this counselor-in-training camp helps participants discover their hidden talents and gain the skills needed to become not just counselors and educators in their local branches, but future leaders of CYM.
The program covers essential topics such as child psychology and development, religion, CYM organizational knowledge and history, and Ukrainian culture. Through these subjects, attendees gain a deeper understanding of Ukraine’s past, present, and cultural heritage.
Graduates of Vyshkilnyj Camp frequently serve as junior counselors at CYM summer camps and continue their leadership development by contributing as educators in their home chapters during the school year. Since all training is conducted in Ukrainian, proficiency in the language is required for participation.
